How To Use Aggressive Marketing For Higher Profits

Monday, April 28th, 2008

By Dave Origano A few weeks ago I have discovered a whole new breed of marketing mindsets and superior techniques. The power that this form of marketing has is amazing. People can go from zero to hero in just a few days. Thousands of dollars, pure profits, arent rare when you start using this new marketing technique. Before I explain to you how this works, let me tell you a background story Do you have friends or parents who dont believe in making money on the internet? Most likely you have, because every internet marketer stumbles on resistance. The block they form for you is about to be transformed into a new motivating source of energy. A lot of people tend to give up on internet marketing, when they have to keep telling their friends and parents that they didnt succeed yet. Some of you will be laughed at, others will have their spouse or parents yelling at them to get a real job. Those people from a mental block for you because youre getting tired of them. But its negative force can easily be utilized as a positive force to begin experiencing success as an internet marketer. It can give the final push in the back that you needed so hard. A wonderful key to profits is laying there all the time. Why dont you use it? Through all the negativity they send to you, you can really succeed, and Im about to tell you how. Weve now identified the problem, the one bump in the road that stops you from earning an income on the internet. And to transform the problem into a driving force behind everything you do, you have to change your mindset. When you change your mindset, everything changes. Learn how to think like a successful person. Always keep those irritating parents or friends in mind, and work to prove them the opposite. You have the ability to prove them once and for all that youre better then they think. You are better then they think! It may sound awkward, but its true. Everyone can earn a nice income at the internet, even you! Anyone with a passion or hobby, motivation and free time can start an online business. You just have to put in the energy, only your efforts will bring in money. Now that youve learned that, choose any person in your life who thinks youre nothing, and that you cant earn an income from the internet. Picture that person as vividly as you can, and write down everything she accuses you of. Then comes the final step Put in all your efforts in proving him or her the opposite of what they said to you. Let them know, through your work, that youre not a loser and that you can earn a nice income. Do whatever you can, do it fast and smart. Aggressive marketing is based on this mindset. When youve a goal to work to, people to prove to theyre wrong you got an enormous motivating force in you. That same force will work with you. With it you will write much stronger salescopy, put in more time and effort into promoting your products. Overall, you cant lose when you use aggressive marketing. Its the number one force that got me my first online profits. If you want to learn more about aggressive marketing and other marketing techniques, subscribe to my free newsletter at the link below. How To Make Your Relationship Succeed (Part 2)

Saturday, April 26th, 2008

By Dale Mazurek Hello everyone. By no means do I profess to be an expert in relationships but the one thing I do have is a very successful marriage of twenty years. Through those years my wife and I have had to work through several trials and tribulations. We could have very easily given up but the both of us took our vowels very seriously. That hard work has brought us to a point in our relationship where we know everything will be just fine. I will share with you some of the small things that have helped us to make our marriage last. This is part two of a small three part series. 9. It is so important not to keep things bottled up inside you. This will just build resentment and lead to the biggest fight imaginable. You need to express your problem and then ask for help with the answer. 10. If you think punishing your partner for something stupid they may have done your just asking for trouble. It will make them fight back even harder. Your best off to ignore the things you dont like and praise them for the things that make you happy. 11. Here is the biggest reason people fight. MONEY Yes thats right. Finances are the number one reason for the biggest fights around. Both of you have to learn to be open about money. When you work on the budget it has to be both of you involved equally. 12. House work isnt just for women. The work around the house needs to be divided up evenly. This means children and yes hubby has to have an even share as well. 13. Something else that needs to be spit up and that is child care. Hubby has to be involved in changing diapers and feedings as well so that mom can take a break. 14. Dont let your sex life disappear. There are going to be ups and downs in your sex life but as soon as either one of you see it going down make sure you start working to bring it back up. Dont let sex turn into an argument. 15. I am not advocating having an affair but if one does happen you should still try and work things out. Figure out why it happened and see if it can be corrected. A mistake doesnt have to be the end of a lifelong commitment. 16. Remember if you are bored with your spouse then you are probably angry about something so you should be asking yourself what you are angry about. These are very simple tasks to put into place and follow. I cannot guarantee these will make your relationship perfect but if the relationship was meant to be then these will just show you that much sooner. Marketing - The Never Ending Story

Tuesday, April 22nd, 2008

By Nancy Fraser This article is in response to a number of conversations Ive had recently with business people who ask about changes to their website. Usually the conversation goes like this. Can you take a look at my website? I want to increase the traffic. I dont seem to be getting many people to the site and dont get any business from it. I look at the site, get back to them with suggested changes and additions, and talk about what it takes to drive traffic and sales on the web. They consider the proposal and say to go ahead. They also ask, So is that all I have to do? Am I done then? Then the resistance factor takes over. Websites are something they dont understand, cant do themselves, but think they need, and consider just another expense. Its like having a tooth pulledthey just want to get it over with. There is so much hype from people that have something to sell that will revolutionize your business or allow you to make money easily without working for it. They imply, if they dont say outright, that you put up a site and immediately started raking in the money, the leads, the sales. It does happen sometimes. BUT do you want to depend on luck? It can take up to 2 months for the search engines to discover your site and if you have broken any of the cardinal rules in the content or technical end of your site, they might not be back. Then again, just because people find your site, doesnt mean they are interested in buying what you have to sell. If you think of your virtual business as being an integral part of your bricks and mortar business, it makes sense to work on it. It should receive the same attention to grow and evolve. Think of it as a pipeline to deliver qualified prospects or as an opportunity to create another, not so hands on, income stream that completes sales electronically. Its a chance to reach clients who may not be attracted to your more traditional marketing and advertising. Plan to either pay someone to work on your site on a regular basis or have your site designed with a content manager so you can easily update the site yourself. If you have to hire someone to make every little change, are you going to do it? Decide what you want to call each page of your site. Write each name on a separate piece of paper and lay each out on the floor so you can see if the navigation of the site makes sense. There is a good reason that most sites are laid out with similar navigation. It works; so dont try to redesign the wheel. The area of your site that fits in your browser without scrolling is the most important part of your site so put whats most important to your customers in that space. Less is more, especially with website copy. People scan websites so consider that when writing and designing the layout of your copy. If you cant tell visitors everything, at least tell them the things that are going to persuade them you can solve their problem. One topic on one page. On a website there is no one door to access your business, there are as many entrances as you have pages. Help the search engines figure out what each page is about by being as specifically focused as possible in the content of each page. Add content on a regular basis to encourage the search engines to keep coming back to your site. The single greatest reason that people search the web is for information. Give good information to them and they will come back and bring their friends. Have someone experienced in SEO do your html titles and meta tags once you have your basic site content done and your site is live. Create multiple opportunities for people to find your site by encouraging other relevant sites to link to your site. Above all, keep looking for chances to promote your site whether its at networking events you attend, trade shows, or in traditional marketing & advertising. Change is a given. Life changes, people change, their wants and needs change. Successful businesses look at current results, watch trends, examine socio-economic factors, and look for opportunities. Responding to these opportunities requires non-stop marketing and modifications to keep appealing to your niche. The greatest advantage a small business has is the ability to turn on a dime. You can write the ending of your own story in any number of ways but if you intend to stay in business, marketing must be written into the script! For over 20 years, Nancy Fraser has worked with business owners to improve their marketing and advertising results. If your results are less than stellar, contact Nancy and her team to work with you to ramp up your results. http://www.notable-marketing.com, http://www.logo-design-tips.com Article Source: http://EzineArticles.com/?expert=Nancy_Fraser http://EzineArticles.com/?Marketing—The-Never-Ending-Story&id=145803 what are credit scores lawsuits for unfair credit reporting practices credit reports for all three monthly credit card expense report sample

Crucify Him! The Old New Story

Sunday, April 20th, 2008

By John Urs But they shouted, saying, Crucify Him, crucify Him! Lk. 23:21 Today Ive red the news headlines and I saw another attempt to lower and disqualify Christianity and our Lord Jesus Christ. Solomon says in Ecclesiastes that there is nothing new under sun. It was the same story in Jesus times and in the early church time. Jesus was not condemned for something He has done, but for who He was. It is the same thing that is bothering the people now as then. It is a struggle to rob Jesus of His divinity and to destroy the Christian faith and the Christian church so the Holy Spirit will not be anymore opposition in front of the antichrist. It is a spiritual battle to destroy the faith and its ethical values, to remove the eternal truth and replace it with the relativism and humanism. It is something new? No! More than 50 years communism tried to destroy the Christian faith and brought a bunch of scientifically arguments to prove that Bible is a fiction and Jesus didnt exist. Did communism succeed? No! Right now in Asia, Africa and other parts of the world Christians are persecuted and they hear the same story as we hear in USA: Jesus was just a human. Jesus didnt exists. They cant defend themselves theologically or apologetically, but they are ready to say the truth with their own life. Are this people, who claim that they have discovered that Jesus was a liar, ready to die for their belief? Its not worth for me to waste my time to answer logically to their fictional claim (other scholars already done that very well), but my intention is to remind you Christians that we have to be awake and we have to be ready to prove with our life and death if it is necessary that our Precious Lord is ALIVE. Real Christianity was never popular and since the beginning the religious institutions, the state and the mobs fought against Christians. There was a Nero, there was a Stalin and many others that persecuted Gods children, why do we think that today would be different? Isnt Bible the Word of God? Isnt Bible the Truth? Why do we think that what Jesus and the apostle Paul said should not happen now in USA? For if they do these things in the green wood, what will be done in the dry? Lk.23:31 Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution. 2 Tim 3:16 My dear friends and brothers it is time for us to count the cost and be ready to see our Lord coming soonand all of those who love the Lord should say: Maranatha! The Things You Won’t Look Out For (But Should) When Night Fishing

Saturday, April 19th, 2008

By Daniel Eggertsen 5 Things To Be Careful of When Night Fishing Night fishing can be some of the most exciting, rewarding and fulfilling fishing you ever do in your life. It can also be the most dangerous fishing you ever do as well. Here are 5 quick things to look out for and be careful of next time you venture out… One - Trees can make your trip miserable. We used to fish at the same lake every weekend for 6 months during the day. I knew this lake like the back of my hand, so it seemed anyway. One Saturday night, we decided to try our luck night fishing on this lake. Once we got out in the water, we were catching fish like no other. Maybe it was carelessness or the adrenaline flowing, but we were whipping around the lake to get to our favorite daytime spot, anxious to see if we would get the same results. What appeared to be open water was actually a graveyard of fallen trees and submerged tree stumps. I’m sure you can imagine the damage the boat received. Just goes to show you the waters are completely different at night than in the day. Sure we knew the water had trees throughout, but they were much easier to see during the day. Two - Other boaters While you have control over the lights on your boat, you don’t have that luxury with other boats on the water with you. Some people do not abide by the law and they choose to not use their lights when night fishing for whatever reason. Seeing another boat at night when they do not have their lights on can be a challenge. Three - Insects Big fish aren’t the only things that come out at night. Expect to find more mosquitoes and black flies at night, eager to snack on your skin. Always bring some bug spray (deet) with you. Four - Wildlife Like insects, you may find an increase in animals out at night with you. One in particular are snakes. For some reason, we come across more snakes at night than during the day. Five - Fishing with others It is hard to see your partner’s rod when he is casting at night. Many times have I been snagged by a lure being casted by my partner. Keep an eye out for your co-fishermen when you cast your line. Fly Fishing: A Perfect Family Past Time

Monday, April 14th, 2008

By Shell Gellner In the hustle and bustle of day to day living in the 21st century, many people have their eyes open for activities that provide a much needed break from rushed routines. In this regard, when it comes to a sport that can be enjoyed by all members of a family, many people turn to fly fishing. Fly fishing has enjoyed continuous popularity with people of all ages — from senior citizens to children who have barely learned to walk. What many people do not realize is that fly fishing is actually an ancient form of angling. In other words, fly fishing has been around for thousands of years. Initially, fly fishing was developed primarily by ancient peoples to catch trout and salmon. However, as the centuries progressed, fly fishing came to be used to catch other types of fish, including carp, bass and pike. Indeed, in this day and age, fly fishing as a technique even is used in salt water fishing in certain circumstances. The reason that so many people enjoy fly fishing is really twofold or on two distinct levels. First of all, people obviously like actually taking off to a lake, pond or stream to cast for fish. However, a good many men, women and children also enjoy the preparatory process of making flies. For many people, fly tying is a much loved activity. The making of flies to be used in fly fishing really has developed into something of a specialized art form. Certainly, the creation of flies has become an important hobby and past time enjoyed by people the world over. Over time, there have developed organizations dedicated to fly tying. Additionally, specialized schools favoring different types of fly tying have been created, drawing adherents from all across the globe. During ancient times, fishers would craft flies using animal fur and bird feathers. Their goal was to create a fly that looked similar to insects and the like that fish naturally were attracted to as food. While the purpose of the handcrafted fly has not changed over time, the materials that are used to create flies has broadened greatly. In todays world, the materials that people use in the crafting of handmade flies is limited only by imagination. A notable number of families actually plan an annual vacation or holiday trip around fly fishing. They plot out travel plans that will take them to one or even several different fishing spots where they can spend truly quality time together fishing. In recent years, a number of resorts have been developed specifically for families who are interested in taking a fly fishing holiday. With that said and when all is said and done, a family interested in fly fishing does not need to plan a grand holiday to enjoy the sport. Rather, they can spend a perfect day casting about in a local lake, pond or stream and create truly appreciated, fond memories for all — memories that will be cherished for years on end. Always use “hot” oils in extremely weak dilution of less than one percent for skin application. Commonly used “hot” essential oils known to have the potential to cause skin irritation, include: basil (Ocimum basilicum), bergamot (Citrus bergamia), birch (Betula lenta), black pepper (Piper nigrum), cinnamon (Cinnamomum zeylanicum), clove (Eugenia aromatica), ginger (Zingiber officinale), expressed (cold pressed from peel) oils of lime, lemon, orange and grapefruit (Citrus limetta, limonum, sinensis and paradisi), lemongrass (Cymbopogon citrates), oregano (Origanum compactum), Scotch pine (Pinus sylvestris), Siberian balsam or silver fir (Abies siberica, alba, balsamea), thyme (Thymus vulgaris), wintergreen (Gaultheria procumbens) and in some cases, tea tree (Melaleuca alternifolia), ylang ylang (Cananga odorata) and peppermint (Mentha piperita). If any of these essential oils is applied in a weak dilution of carrier oil on the skin and a hot, red irritation occurs this is the result of a burn to the skin that requires immediate attention. Always have a vegetable carrier oil like Pure Light Coconut Oil or Jojoba available to apply onto the skin in such cases! Applying a carrier oil will have an immediate effect of calming the skin irritation. Do not wash or rinse the area with water as this will drive the essential oils further into the skin and increase, not diminish discomfort. Aromatherapy is a gentle and noninvasive complementary health care system used for balancing and synchronizing your body, mind, spirit and emotions to enhance your health. Properly administered essential oils are a natural, safe and effective way to enhance your health and well-being and can produce satisfying results where other methods have failed. Please consult your health care professional about any serious disease or injury. Do not attempt to self-diagnose or prescribe any natural substances such as essential oils for serious health conditions that require professional attention. PLEASE NOTE: There are many cheap, synthetic copies of aromatic oils, but these are not recommended for therapeutic use. For best results purchase the highest quality oils you can possibly find. Tips To Survive A Layoff

Thursday, April 10th, 2008

By Nathan Newberger The following eight tips will help make sure that recover from alayoff sooner than you think. #1 - DON’T PANIC: You may have lost your job but you have not lost everything. You area skilled individual and will work again. Do not ever lose sight ofthese two simple sentences. Do not let yourself fall into a spiralof negative thinking. Think back to all the other people that youknow of that have lost jobs in the past and are now successfullyemployed. #2 - REFLECT AND RECOVER: Step back and clear your head. Anger and fear are two of the mostcommon emotions experienced after a job-loss. Neither is conduciveto clear thinking or good decision-making. Take some time to talkthrough your feelings of loss with friends and family members. Ifthis does not help, consider the services of a professionalcounselor. Sort through your emotional baggage or else risk draggingit with you on your job-search. #3 - ORGANIZE YOUR FINANCES: Take a serious look at your spending habits. List out your monthlyexpenses into 2 groups- absolutely necessary and optional. If youhave already been laid off you should limit your spending to thefirst category. If you are still employed but fearing what thefuture may hold, start cutting back in the second category. Ageneral rule of thumb is to keep the enough cash to cover at leasttwo months worth of expenses in the bank for emergencies. If youhave not had a chance to do so as of the time of termination, youstill have options. Dont forget that most companies offer aseverance package to laid off employees. In addition you can alsocontact your local un-employment agency regarding unemploymentbenefits. #4 - INSURANCE: Just because you have lost your job does not mean that you and yourfamily have immediately lost all insurance coverage that you hadwhile you were employed. It just means that now you are responsiblefor paying for it all by yourself. Under COBRA (Consolidated OmnibusBudget Reconciliation Act) generally you can remain on your formeremployers plan for up to 18 months as long as you pay the premiums.Remember that there are time limits for signing up for COBRA. Youcan get more COBRA information from the human resources department ofyour former employer. #5 - UPDATE YOUR RESUME: Take account of all the skills and responsibilities that you acquiredon your last job. Make sure that you include these on your updatedresume. And remember this is not the time to be modest; be proudof your accomplishments. If you are unsure on how to lay out or wordyour resume, then you can find many examples of successful resumes onthe Internet or in your local bookstore. Definitely have a friend orfamily member review your resume. Remember that a good resume canoften make the difference between being granted an interview or not.Take the time to make your resume shine. #6 - ACTIVATE YOUR NETWORK: Do not be ashamed that you have been laid off. Tell everyone thatyou think can help that you are looking for work. This does not meanthat you should cry on the shoulder of anyone that will listen. Whatthis does mean is that you should be prepared to tell friends, familyand even acquaintances that you are looking for work, what types ofskills you have and the types of jobs that you would be interestedin. #7 - CONSIDER USING A RECRUITER: Consider using a recruiter. Recruiters a.k.a. headhunters can helpyou to better manage and improve the results of your job search.Using a recruiter has many advantages. These advantages include theirhaving already established relationships with many employers andtheir having access to hidden job opportunities. In addition manyrecruiters will offer tips on how to improve your resume andinterviewing skills. Best of all most recruiters are completely freeto the job seeker. They collect their fees directly from theemployer. #8 - GO BACK TO SCHOOL: Take advantage of the time provided by being laid off to betteryourself both professionally and personally. Some people choose togo back to school and pursue an entirely different trade. Otherswill attend a few classes at the local community college to sharpentheir skills in their chosen profession. Still others will pursue 6or 12 month programs in a trade school. And dont think that yourstudy must be directly career related. This may be the perfectopportunity to study a foreign language or learn to roller blade.Layoffs provide people who are used to being busy with a lot of freetime. Make the most of this time by improving yourself. In conclusion, remember that getting laid off is not the end of theworld. Whether you are recently unemployed or are just feeling a bituncertain about your job security in these tough economic times, theeight survival tips above can help you to get back on your feetquickly in the event of a layoff. Use Email Marketing To Keep Customers Buzzing About Your Business

By Tim Knox The other day my radio show cohost, Paul Finley, mentioned that he had received an email from his dentist. The point of the email was to let Paul know that his office would be closed for a week and included instructions on what to do in case of a dental emergency. Obviously Pauls dentist reads my column because Ive been preaching about using email to keep in touch with customers for years. OK, maybe he doesnt read my column and is just a brilliant guy in his own right. Either way, the point is clear: using email - no matter what type of business youre in - is an excellent way to keep the lines of communication buzzing between you and those folks who keep you in business. Youll notice that I didnt say to keep the lines of communication “open.” I said to keep the lines of communication “buzzing,” as in active, as in constantly communicating messages that will entice them back into your business. The difference is huge. “Open” simply means that youre there if and when your customers happen to think about you. “Buzzing” means that you proactively do things to keep your business in the forefront of your customers mind. Instead of waiting for them to come in only when they need something, you send emails that give them reasons to come in as soon as possible. You dont wait for Mohammed to come to the mountain; you send the mountain to Mohammed via email. Its called “email marketing” and every business - including yours - should be doing it. Dont confuse email marketing with spamming. The emails you send your customers are never unsolicited or intrusive. You get their permission to send them occasional emails that are of benefit to them. And by benefiting them you increase your business and solidify your relationship with the customer. Ideally you should collect email addresses from everyone who walks through your door, whether they buy something or not. Offer them the opportunity to sign up for your free email newsletter or announcement list and offer them an incentive to do so, maybe a $10 discount off their first purchase if they sign up today. The allure of saving $10 not only entices them to give you their email address, but to also make that first purchase while they are there to save the $10. See how that works? You got them added to your email list and they made an immediate purchase. You can now use email marketing techniques to turn them from a one time customer into a repeat customer. Remember the number one rule of sales: its easier to sell to current customers than to sell to new customers. The first sale is always the hardest. You should concentrate on building a legion of repeat customers and email marketing can help you do that. Email should be a part of every businesss marketing strategy. If you own a hair or nail salon you could email customers on slow days and offer a special discount if they come in by a certain time. If you own a clothing store you could email your customers every time a new clothing line comes in or if youre having a sale. If youre in the furniture business can email your customers about excess inventory and offer them a discount if they come in by a certain date. Email marketing works for professional service providers, as well. Accountants can email their clients with special bulletins about changes in the tax law or to remind them when its time to file forms. Stockbrokers can email clients about changes in the stock market or to tell about a hot new IPO thats on the horizon. Doctors and dentists can use email marketing to notify patients that its time for their annual checkup, to remind them of impending appointments, to inform them of new office hours, or to let them know about new services. Or perhaps youre in practice building mode and you want to offer a referral bonus for current patients who refer their friends and family to you.You get the idea. Email marketing can increase your businesss revenues, solidify your reputation, and keep you fresh on your customers mind. If you have questions about putting email marketing to work for your business just shoot me an email and Ill point you in the right direction. Or if youve successfully used email marketing to increase your business let me know about it and Ill share the news. Im sure others would love to hear about how smart you are.
